Privacy

Neboard is a public BTC perpetual-futures dashboard. This page lists what we collect, why, and how long we keep it. We aim to collect the minimum needed to keep the service running and free of abuse.

What we collect

Anonymous session ID — a cookie (sessionid) is set on first visit so the dashboard's live WebSocket can authenticate. The cookie does not identify you.
Page-visit log — for each request we store the URL path, timestamp, session ID, your IP address, two-letter country (from Cloudflare's geolocation of the IP), and User-Agent header.
WebSocket connect log — same fields as above when your browser opens the live data feed.

Why

Service operation — the session cookie is strictly necessary for the dashboard to function.
Security — to spot brute-force login attempts and abusive scanners. This is our "legitimate interest" under GDPR Recital 49.
Usage understanding — to see roughly how many people use the dashboard and from where.

How long

Visit logs are auto-deleted after 60 days. The session cookie itself expires after 30 days of inactivity.

Who else sees it

Cloudflare sits in front of the site as a content delivery network and DDoS shield. They see and may briefly retain your IP, requested URL, and User-Agent. Cloudflare is a GDPR sub-processor under their Data Processing Addendum.
We do not share visit data with anyone else. There are no third-party analytics, ads, or tracking pixels.

Your rights

Under GDPR you can request access to or deletion of any personal data we hold about you. There's a practical wrinkle: Neboard has no accounts and no email registration, so we can't look you up by name. The only identifiers we store are your anonymous session cookie value and your IP at the time of each visit. To make a request you'd need to provide one of:

Your sessionid cookie value (DevTools → Application → Cookies → sessionid).
An approximate timestamp range together with your IP or country and User-Agent.

With either of those we can locate the matching rows and either send them to you or delete them. Without them we don't have a way to identify which rows are yours.
